We are just getting in from our 3 day visit with babybears biomommy - Goldilocks.
We went to the town that babybear was born and stayed and had lots of time to visit!
One really cool thing is we got to meet her great-grandfather and gets pictures of him and babybear together. With all this talk going on with the forums and other places about being scared of open adoption and the biomom not really mattering much after placement --DON'T BUY IN TO THAT!!!!!!! I can not imagine our lives with out Goldilocks, she is such a special part of our family and I know this is going to help baby bear soooo much in the future! It is great, but hard to say goodbye -- I have like this mini-depression thing going on when I have to leave Goldilocks--- I know that may sound wierd to some people it is just hard to say goodbye--- but we had a wonderful visit!!! just wanted to share a pic of us!

I am green with jealousy over your relationship with that hottie, Goldilocks. (Well, you're super-cute, too, but I know Goldi is going to chuckle when she reads this.)
Neither of you have any idea how I long, and I mean long with every fiber of my being, that I had this type of openness with Crettie.
You're both proof that it happens and that it works. Keep it up. That Baby Bear is one lucky kid to have two such wonderful women to call "mom."

So glad you had another great visit! I'm with Jen...I wish our situation were different with K. and M. I see others who have this awesome open relationship...we have that with our Girly's BigSis and BigBro, and that is incredible, but there could be so much more...

You girls look like sisters! Just beautiful! I'm glad you had such a great time! I hope that when the time comes, I'll be as close to my child's other mom as you two are with each other... so special.

I wish for a little more of that in my relationship w/ J, but time builds friendships, and Im pretty sure we're in for the long haul :)
